Sailing in the Faroe Islands is complicated. We have a lot of parameters to take into consideration to make your trip as comfortable as possible. The currents between and around the Islands change hourly and have to be considered in relation to the wind and the waves. Failing to do so can result in some slow and choppy trips.

So when we suggest a 08:15 departure. It is not to ruin your breakfast, but rather to make sure that it stays inside your stomac.
