Food onboard
As an icon in Faroese tourism, the Norðlýsið is obligated to promote our fantastic seafood and local produce. We consider what we offer you as an important part of our ship's image.
All food and beverages have to be requested prior to the trip.
Our guests are welcome to bring their own food, snacks and beverages.
Sandwiches
On charters and selected public trips, we offer our own sandwiches for enjoyment on deck, down below or on a visit ashore.
If you have a special request, we will do our best to accomodate.

Creels
On charters you can request our seafood meal with beverages, fruit and desert. Prepared to make your senses sing.

Dinner in the forecastle
Up to twelve persons can sit at the handcrafted table in the uniquely cosy forecastle with modern heating and ventilation.
Example:
Norðlýsið menu with starters, seafood plate, main course of the freshest of fish and desert.

with white wine or beer: 1.100 DKK

The dinner is offered in connection with charter only and served at the harbour.
